Anniversary Card

Using the Scan n Cut machine, I made an anniversary card for The Brother and his Wife. This was a pattern found on the Canvas Workspace. Though I made a couple of changes to the card.

I didn't like the font that was chosen for the "congratulations" sentiment. The machine comes with some predesigned words and phrases under the Logo tab. I chose Celebrate and was easily able to resize the sentiment to fit the card. I also added a few pearl beads and jewels for champagne bubbles along with a tiny heart sticker.

  1. Oh, boy, I really do feel old now. Never heard of that machine, can you give a pic next time?
    It´s a cute card, too.

  2. Very clever! Not the usual run of the mill anniversary card. I bet they'll love it. :D

    1. Their anniversary was Tuesday. I mailed the card early because I've mailed things and they have been taking longer to get to the destination. Long story, my SIL texted me that she loved the card. 😺

  3. Wow. That is amazing. Can you imagine having to cut that by hand? I love the "bubbles" you created.

    1. I can imagine fussy cutting the goblet with a lot of swearing and I'm sure the edges wouldn't be neat and rounded either 😺 When I finished the card, it looked like it needed something. I think the bubbles really made the design pop.

    1. My SIL always sends cards through the year Birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day. I’m not always good at remembering to send the cards. So i started early on this one.
