From the Land of Here There Be
(that's pretty much anywhere outside of Boston)
Dragon stamps and a card with Santa's sleigh being pulled by dragons from Finnbadger from Envelope 100
A gorgeous, flourished and sparkly envelope from Kathy Milici one of the instructors I studied with at Enders Island
A beautiful flourished wreath with a Blackletter variation from one of my students, Bob B.
A delightful card featuring Little Robin and her pal, Throckmartin from Robin at Pink House Studios. The puppy butt just cracked me up and sums up 2020 perfectly
MB a friend I met in classes at Enders Island sent a lovely card with acanthus leaves
Thank you all for brightening up the mail in my mailbox.
Wow, you got TONS of happy mail. You got some real beauties, especially that Santa and sleigh being pulled by dragons. Sheer beauty. As someone who saves and uses cancelled postage stamps, I HATE what they do at Christmas. They put such heavy and huge marks on the postage stamps, they are often obliterated. Regardless, you got some real gems.
ReplyDeleteNot just at Christmas. For some reason some of the postal clerks are partial to the big, fat, Sharpie markers.
DeleteBeautiful.

DeleteHappy mail is always nice! Glad you enjoyed Throcky's 'butt'! (It seems his butt made quite a hit! LOL)
ReplyDeleteThrocky's pose just summed up 2020 😺

DeleteFun post, the puppy butt is really funny! Have a great week!Valerie
ReplyDeleteRobin has such a great sense of humor
DeleteMostly wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGot one today. It was soaked.
I hope the rain didn't destroy the address or the card/letter inside
DeleteGreat to see all the dragons again. This is one of my all-time favorite stamp issues.
ReplyDeleteI actually found this year's holiday postmark less brutal than the past couple of years. It landed really well on the dragons - you can see them pretty clearly.
I liked how the Happy Holidays cancellation was placed. So much nicer than the fat Sharpie pen. The dragon stamps was one of our favorites, too.
DeleteThese are fabulous cards you received CJ. I love the girl wishing you a Merry Christmas from an acceptable distance. That is worth a smile! Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThat's Little Robin, her giant pencil, and her new friend Throcky. Throcky sums up 2020 😺
DeleteA lovely and interesting collection. Fun mail!
ReplyDeleteIndeed
DeleteBeautiful CJ! Love all the happy mail!
