How Does Your Garden Grow?

Cold and still a lot of snow

Mole holes by the bird feeder?

The Bunny Trail

And then the rains came and all the snow washed away. Fortunately, it didn't wash away into the basement.

Christmas Night and 50 oF outside!

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain. The bunny having breakfast.

Sunshine on solar panels powering the house

High winds from the rain storm brought down some branches, but didn't down trees or power lines in my area.

The only pile of snow left is where the plow pushed the snow. Dedo doesn't look happy.

After the warm, the deep freeze.

With a high wind warning for the storm, I took in the garden flag.

It was time to change it anyway.

Here's to 2021

  1. Yes, the weather here has been rather up and down this past week or so. Rain most of the week, Christmas Eve was warm and windy, Chiristmas Day was cold as all get out then rain and sunshine taking turns.

    Love your New Year's flag!!

  6. Wow you did lose all your snow. We are still white, but now the sidewalks and road are not white. That's ok with me! Have a nice start to these last few days of 2020. 2021 can't come soon enough. Hugs-Erika

  8. Personally, I have NO idea what's been going on outside my own home, but I can enjoy the bunny, Dedo, the new flag, and hope that 2021 is a better year than this one has been.

  9. What a contrast! I got a new feeder for mealworms for Christmas, and I'm hoping to allows access without being one the sparrows can empty in 15 minutes. Time will tell. Right now the big fat robin and the big fat mourning doves take turns gobbling up the food in the other little feeder lol

    2. I've seen house finches at it, but it's not attracting the sparrow parties the other one did. So far so good.
