How Does Your Garden Grow?

Another red sky in the morning.

frozen bird bath

First nuisance snow on New Year's Night.

Foggy start to the morning

By the afternoon warmer temperature left snow dotting the ground like clumps of daisies. I wish.

Visitors are welcome, but not the snow.

The last snow pile from last week's storm. Dedo can finally see his toes again.

The Winter welcome garden flag.

  1. Your garden still looks good. Here's hoping that the daisies don't let you wait too long! Valerie

  3. Aren't YOU the lucky person. I got 8 inches of ice AND snow. You got a sprinkling. I was out today and the snow is still deep where I live. Your birdbath looks like Sally's. She goes out each day to break up the ice and put in fresh water. They are saying we will have fog tomorrow, so you got some beautiful shots of yours. MY garden is deep under snow right now (grin), so it's in hibernation. Nothing growing here, except water levels in the river.

  4. It won't be long those clumps of snow "could" be daisies. Well I still have lots of snow on the ground. I think I'll be waiting for about two to three weeks before it all melts. I like those snowman on the plaque on your front door.

    1. It's supposed to be a La Nina year so the Winter is supposed to be mild. I'm still waiting.

    2. I'm waiting too - the kind of long range forecast is for not much moisture and the snow storm that about a week ago they saw possibly coming in again didn't happen. I'm thrilled~!

  6. We lost our garden flag in one of these storms. Broke the whole holder off the post, and then the flag fell and get all iced over and ripped. We have a bit more white than you, but it is icy. Hope tonight doesn't end up being much, for either of us. Have a great start to your week and hope you could reshow us these photos next week with no new accumulations. Hugs-Erika

    1. Oh, that's too bad. Snow totals sound like they just got lowered so maybe this will turn out to be nothing. Fingers crossed.

  9. Lovely to see your garden photographs.
I do like that red sky.

Here in the UK we've had grey, cold days ... hoping for some sunshine soon!

    Have a good new week.

    All the best Jan

  10. Beautiful CJ! I find winter this far, has been kind of mild? We have got snow, but not a lot! It seems to come and go. Love your door decorations and your flag! Big Hugs!
