The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. A rainy, dreary Saturday.  We slept in and got up later than normal

2. The cleaning sheets I ordered for the scanning document arrived. The scanner was leaving a grey streak down the middle of the scan. I ran the clean sheet through the scanner a couple of times and no more streak.

3. Bananas ๐Ÿ˜บ More about this on Tuesday

4. Enjoyed a nice Skype session with Nan.

5.  Watched a free live planetarium program on the Aurora Borealis. Lots of cool time lapse images and links to Aurora cameras.

How was your week?

    1. The cleaning sheets are only for sheet fed scanners. If you have a flatbed scanner, you won't be able to use them

  8. I once see an aura borealis and I want to see one again. I bet that presentation was good. My week was good. Yours sounds that way too, and now I am curious about bananas.

    1. They made the invite sound like you could see the Aurora, but the presentation was well done.

  9. I got all excited about scanning sheets, because my printer is definitely not working properly anymore. Then I read it's not for flat bed scanners and felt deflated. I DID love the photo of the Aurora Borealis, which made up for it.

    1. If your flatbed printer is not scanning properly, you either have to have it cleaned/repaired by a service or buy a new one.

  10. Skype session sounds good.

Seeing everyone's comments about scanners and printers, we too are having problems with our printer, think we may need a new one!

    All the best Jan
