How Does Your Garden Grow?

The week began with a burst of snow

We woke up to sadness frozen to the ground. At least it wasn't as bad as the weather the Eldest is getting in Erie where lake effect snow has dumped a couple of feet of snow in her area and has shutdown roads.

She was supposed to leave on Saturday for her new job/new assignment in Philadelphia but travel plans had to be changed because of the weather. Fingers crossed she'll be able to travel on Monday to start her first day on Tuesday. 🤞

No more warm 70 oF temperatures for my area. Time to break out the woolies

Frost on the ground

Himself needs to wrap the clematis and get it in the greenhouse for Winter

The hydrangea going into hibernation

The Watchers all snuggly warm and not frozen to the bone.

Brrrr.....but it could be worse. I feel for the Eldest. I remember Pennsylvania/upstate NY snow storms!

Yeah, at least she's not in Buffalo with over 5 feet of snow!

We had our first frost this past week, We also had a mix of snow and sleet on Friday, but thank God it did not get bad.

As much as I hated seeing the dusting of snow so early, at least we weren't like Buffalo that got 5+ feet!

All across the Great Lakes we are starting up our winter! Like you, we luckily didn’t get overwhelmed by snow, just a few inches.

It's just too early for the white stuff

For no less than three days, we didn't get above freezing during the day or night. No woolies, but lots of layers. And cats to keep me warm. Loved the "chilled to the bone," because that photo says it all.
