The Young One had asked me if I could send her crochet hooks. I not only sent her hooks, but I sent a bunch of yarn I had sitting around.
When she saw the skein of variegated blue, green, and purple, the colors reminded her of me. She crocheted an adorable, little cat which she named Monet. He was supposed to arrive in time for my birthday, but the recent CrowdStrike incident disrupted UPS shipping schedules. He finally arrived when I was in Ogunquit so I had a nice surprise waiting for me when I got home.
