We're loving the little dishwasher. There are 6 different modes. Heat, Normal, Speed (shorter time for lightly soiled dishes), Soft (for fragile items), Baby Care/Heavy (for baby bottles or really grimy dishes), Fruit.
We decided to play with the fruit cycle to wash apples. The container to hold the fruit in the dishwasher also doubles as a fruit bowl. Pretty cool.
What an unusual idea, to wash fruit in the dishwasher.
ReplyDeleteIt's a 19 minute cycle that uses cool water and no soap

DeleteOh I didn´t know yet that fruits can be washed with a dish -washer....maybe I should try too. .....

This little dishwasher has a special cycle for fruit. The water remains cool and doesn't get heated up for the 19 minute cycle. I think regular dishwashers heat the water and would run for a longer time. You might end up cooking your fruit
DeleteThat's cool. I've never heard of a fruit cycle. Can you use it for things like potatoes or carrots?
ReplyDeleteIt says it works on hard fruit. I'm thinking apples and pears. Funny, I never wash carrots until after I peel the skin.
DeleteWhat a great invention!
ReplyDeleteI think so.
DeleteIt's cool that there's a cycle specifically for fruit!
ReplyDeleteIt is. Though it's annoying to have to remove all the damn stickers from the fruit
