Five good things that happened this week.
1. Ran errands and had lunch at a new (to us) restaurant in town.
2, Spent an awesome day in Gloucester, Massachusetts with my friend, Teague
3. Himself woke me up on his way to school to tell me it was Cation Day, and he was wearing the Cation shirt. He wears it once a semester. It's his favorite shirt. not. and this way I couldn't tease him that he doesn't wear it. 😺
4. Gloriously warm weather for the first day of Fall
5. Made plans to see Downton Abbey next week with Nan
How was your week?
I hope to see that movie next weekend when the weather is supposed to get chilly. You'll have to let us know how it is. And you've had a nice week I think. How is Gloucester? I haven't been there since I was a kid. Happy Friday. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI don't think Gloucester has changed that much. Other than more traffic and more tourists 😺
DeleteSounds like a fine week, and I know warm weather makes you happy! Hope you enjoy Downton Abbey. Have agreat weekend, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThanks! You, too. 😊
DeleteWhat a great week! I love that t-shirt too ...lol 😉. Enjoy the warmer fall weather and your trip to the movies with Nan, such fun! Happy Friday and Weekend! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI told Himself everyone loves that t-shirt 😄
DeleteSounds like you had a nice week. A bit rainy here in Eugene, OR. Enjoy that nice weather and the movie. Can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait. The trailer looks great
DeleteDid you get to the Wyeth exhibit in Gloucester? Looking forward to our movie date next week.😊
ReplyDeleteNo, maybe another trip
DeleteGood week here too. I may have to see Downtown Abbey, if only to enjoy that quote "I don't apologize, I explain!" again! LOL ;D
ReplyDelete😄 Love the Dowager
DeleteSounds like another good week. (I also left a comment for the cation post.) I found the first day of Fall to be a little too hot for my liking, but I remember you said you enjoy the hot Summer temperatures. A lot of leaves have fallen where I am in southern CT in the past day. And they aren't nice colors: they're brown.
ReplyDeleteWith regard to Teddy wanting to climb onto that log the frog was on: ever since he realized he could've tumbled into the water on a previous outing, he doesn't want to get near any risky locations involving water. :-) In a few weeks, the photo I took of him on this outing will be in my T-Day post. (I still have a backlog of previous photos of him to get through.)
The maple out front turned red 🍁, we had a heavy rainstorm and the tree lost all its leaves. The tree was beautiful for all of 2 minutes. I’m glad Teddy is being more careful
DeleteI've never seen Downton Abbey and won't start now, but I'm glad the fans are getting this movie. I hear it's doing well.
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat a new-to-me restaurant! I love the summertime heat but am ready for fall to be fall. I wanna wear long sleeves for a change lol
I don’t want to wear heavy sweaters, coats, boots. 😿
DeleteWe saw the movie last weekend and would see it again. the details and writing were excellent.
ReplyDeleteMy week was reasonable. The weather is much cooler and fall makes me happy. Enjoy your weekend.
Good to hear. I was afraid the movie wouldn’t live up to the hype
DeleteI love that tee shirt. Will he wear it once he retires?
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a single Downton Abby, so I hope you enjoy it and it lives up to the hype. I know it was good for PBS.
I suspect when he fully retires, I’ll gain a new t-shirt
DeleteI've never watched Downton Abbey … but I do hope you enjoy the film.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
So far, I've heard good reviews
DeleteA good week CJ! Our first day of fall was warm too!
