How Does Your Garden Grow?

The cardinal keeping watch

Mmmm, salad

I can't believe you ate the whole thing

Bunny bookends

Rabbit, rabbit. White rabbit. Well, as close as I can get on the first of this month

The wind or someone/thing knocked over the morning glories

All is right with the world

I weeded most of the Zensical garden

In the center of the photo is a little bee. She loved these yellow and orange flowers in the jungle

Heath asters

The meadow turned into a jungle. The golden rod is well over 6 feet tall!

Leaves on the maple out front are starting to turn. Good bye, Summer. 😿

Some wild morning glory (aka Devil's weed) winding up the front rails.

How does your garden grow?

  1. Oh no! The leaves are starting to turn already???? That does not bode well for the coming winter. :( Other than that, your garden looks very inviting!

  2. It's looking good, love those flamingos. As a kid I was very ill because I chewed morning glory! Happy sunday, Valerie

  3. Your gardens look lovely. I liked the two rabbits photo. I like the dragon in your Zensical garden. The Pink Flamingos always look good. Nice flowers. Yesterday I saw a maple tree here in southern CT that was already changing colors, which is very early. (I think it was a fluke: none of the other maple trees show any signs of color changes here yet.) As much as I look forward to the return of Fall, I dread the season that comes after that.

  5. I had to laugh at the flamingos eating the weeds. You spent a lot of time getting them out of your zensical garden. Much of your yard is looking SO much better than mine. Impressive.

    1. I wish the flamingoes or any other creatures would eat the weeds so I wouldn’t have to pull them . Never ending task

  6. The garden looks good. I have less blooming now and lots of green. I like the flamingos. Oh the vibes of Florida. Good thing they are not in Florida though so they don't blow away with the storm. Hope you are having a good weekend. hugs-Erika

  9. The rabbits are lookin' big! We have leaves beginning to turn here, too. It's September, after all, but the summer did seem to fly by. I think I'm going to look for a native aster for the patio next spring. Such pretty flowers :)

    1. One of the flamingos had fallen over so it looked like s/he was nibbling the weeds. It was just something silly to do to make the weeding go faster. I hate weeding. 😺
