This idea came from a Facebook meme:
Over 10 days, post your 10 all time favorite films. What movie has really made an impact on you or what films can you watch over and over and never tire of? Post either the movie poster, DVD cover or even a screenshot on your timeline. No need to explain.
Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:me favorite films. Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:
This week a double feature starring Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon
Some Like It Hot (1959) Marilyn Monroe
The Great Race (1965) Natalie Wood
If you haven't seen either of these movies, if you have TCM you may be able to find these movies there and both are available for rent on YouTube.
Of course I haven't seen them....Valerie
ReplyDeleteMaybe next week
DeleteI haven't seen either of these and haven't even heard of the second one. However, I DO get TCM.
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked. I got notification of this post early for once this week.
TCM also lets you watch stuff online for free. Check out TCM.com
DeleteHappy Saturday-heard of these films but haven't seen them-enjoy your weekend
ReplyDeleteThat's not usual for me to hear
DeleteI think I saw both of these a long time ago, and enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteCurtis and Lemmon worked well together.
DeleteOldies but goodies! :D
ReplyDeleteJust like me 😺
DeleteEvidently I am old movie Illiterate. I've heard of Some Like it Hot but never saw it. The Great Race, nope never seen it.
ReplyDeleteIf you're looking for comedy both of these movies deliver. The Great Race is based on movie serials from the silent movie era. Hero meets girl, villain thwarts hero, hero rescues damsel, defeats villain. Happy ending.
DeleteSome Like It Hot is a favorite of mine. I haven't seen the other one. I should check it out. Happy Sunday. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThe Great Race is a fun, mindless romp
DeleteFabulous film! What could be better than Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis 😀. Happy weekend! Take care! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteFun films both :)
ReplyDeleteNow these I have seen, and enjoyed :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
