I didn't get out to the garden to take pictures this week. It's been extremely humid punctuated by heavy rains, thunderstorms, and flooding in some areas especially the state of Vermont. That's where one of my SIL's lives. They weren't able to attend the family gathering on Saturday because roads around them were washed out.
We had more heavy rains this morning and rain and thunderstorms predicted for this afternoon.

You have had too much rain, we have had too much sun - for me, I know some like it hot. My balcony garden is doing well! Valerie
So far, it's been a wet Spring and wet and humid Summer.
Ugh! I HATE the summer heat to begin with and all we have had here has been nothing but heavy, damaging rainstorms and horrible humidity. That is the reason I can't wait for fall to arrive!

OH RAIN!!! Although i know too much i s not good either... i sure wish we had some of your rain..... The Sunflowers are struggling... The triple digit heat and lack of rain and now some caterpillars are attacking them... and not the kind that produce beautiful butterflies either... Their days may be numbered... Theres been terrible humidity with this heat here too... probably not as bad as yours but still more than we are used to.. Take care CJ stay safe. Hugs! deb

Oh my gosh, roads washed out. That's pretty serious. YOU stay safe.
Well in Mallorca now is summer and we have 32 C degrees every day. More hot, and no rain. My plants need water every day.
My garden is WET. WE got dumped on with rain this AM. Like over or around 5 inches. Not road problems right near me ( that I know of) but Alton (the next town up) had lots of road wash outs including some of the state road. I hope you stayed dry.

We got dumped on, too. I'll have to wait until tomorrow when Himself goes out to the garden and can look at the rain gauge to see how much we got. I went to bring the trash to the garage and the gravel driveway was wet like a sponge.
You can't live on this planet and not heard about the horrific flooding in Vermont. I saw some washed out roads on TV, so I can understand why your SIL and her family wasn't able to attend the gathering.
A caterpillar got all my dill, but at least there will be butterflies that I hope will visit me soon.
