Rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit. Welcome to the Longest Month of the Year. Since this year is a Leap Year, we also have the added pleasure of having an extra day in February. C'mon! Like who would think in the dead of Winter adding an extra day would be a good idea? Unless of course, you're Down Under and then it would be great to have an extra beach day.
Excellent point about this adds another day to Winter in the northern hemisphere. :-( - Anne (Cornucopia)
ReplyDeleteDeep sigh. Forlorn look
DeleteHeh.Good point. Sandra sandracox.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI never thought of that before
DeleteWell, you're right there! And in Germany all pensioners have to wait a day longer for their pensions, something to do with the banking days....
ReplyDeleteThat's awful!
DeleteFebruary can be the longest month, even if it doesn't snow. Let's hope it's not a super cold and white one.
ReplyDeleteAmen
Deletethecontemplativecat here. Why a miserable month like February gets to have the extra day is wrong. Putting the extra day in May would make sense.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have an extra day in July or August
DeleteI'm thinking winter may be about over here. We start getting spring flowers in February.
ReplyDeleteThis morning, Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early Spring. I don't think that's gonna apply up here.
DeleteDeep sigh indeed.....😔
ReplyDelete139 days until the Summer Solstice
DeleteCute art! I could give up February completely...and March. it didn't treat us well last year however, right now all it is doing is raining a lot and snow at upper altitudes than we are. hurray for that.
ReplyDeleteThe White Rabbit dressed as a herald was done by the original illustrator of Alice and Wonderland, John Tenniel. You got slammed with snow last year. I hope the rains aren't too heavy to cause flooding
DeleteHappy February :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
