1. Another Summer like afternoon so I watched Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte in the sun room.
2. I re-caulked the shower and declared I wasn't cooking. Take-out dinner from Tony's our local pizza and sub shop.
3. Himself washed all the windows. Inside and out.
4. Himself found the thumb drive with his family movies that his brother gave him. We watched some of the movies in the afternoon.
5. The Roku device arrived so we can watch TV in the bedroom as there is no cable box in that room. Step one to cutting the cable.
How was your week?
Oh, now I crave pizza! And... can you send your Hubby over? The windows... ;-)
ReplyDeleteHere rather uneventful. Politics are driving me nuts.
Yes, I can send him as long as I can tag along. Then we can leave the menfolk to the cleaning, and you can take me around the city so I can look for Henry.
DeleteYay for takeout
ReplyDeleteIndeed
DeleteI'd love to watch Hinself's old family movies! I love family movies even if I don't know the people in them.....I know, I'm weird.....lol.
ReplyDeleteC'mon over. I'll toss a bag or two of popcorn in the microwave.
DeleteLots of good things. I would love to get away from cable or at least just have the basics. Any tips would be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteBlog post! 🎃
DeleteCongrats on steps toward cutting cable. It worked for us :)
ReplyDeleteHow often do you re-caulk your shower? I think it should last forever. It doesn't :(
I think this was the 2nd time since we remodeled the bathroom in 2009, and I agree it should last forever and look pristine.
DeleteCongratulations on your caulking and inking! It is snowing here
ReplyDeleteSnowing here, too. 😿
Deletesounds like a busy but fun weekend. Wow home movies - i would love to see ours again from our childhood. They were on reels and then my sis had them put on VCR back in the day and I haven't seen them in years.
ReplyDeleteyou have snow, wow. I remember that movie ...makes me want to see it again.
I have to haVE a TV in my room. i binge a lot at night. on TV not alcohol... although a long island here and there would be nice.
6 inches of snow. Way too early
DeleteWow, I would say your husband is a real keeper if he cleaned all the windows in and out. I have to do my own. I also have to caulk my own shower/tub combinations, but it sounds like you know how to use a caulk gun. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteScott wants to order a couple of Roku boxes for me so I can ween myself off cable.
I watched a This Old House video on How to Caulk a tub
