How Does Your Garden Grow?

The twig has lost all its leaves

A couple of morning glories hanging in there

Milkweed pods with a peek at the seeds.

Reggie's morning glory seeds ready to be harvested.

Rain, Himself's classes and grading student work left no time for working on the greenhouse

Brilliant blue skies and color in the Leaf Lady's yard

The Heavenly Blue morning glories. I wish they wouldn't bloom so late.

Bedazzled after rain

    1. A little breezy in your neck of the lake. We're in a drought so while the rain was welcome, we could use a lot more.

  2. No garden here CJ... too many deer.. but i love to see the deer so its a good trade off.. Living on the edge of State Park so i reckon its more their home than mine.. lol Its been raining pine needles since yesterday.. Its the annual needle drop... So glad.. the trees were looking kinda shabby chic in their brown needles.. Rain expected later today.. thank goodness we need it badly.. Hugs! deb

    1. We have deer here, too, though I rarely see them. I usually see their prints in the snow so I know they are around. I guess my garden doesn't have anything they like to eat. 🎃

  3. Your autumn colors are incredible. That shot toward the Leaf Lady's yard shows the spectacular colors and beauty of the trees as they turn in your world.

Will that poor greenhouse be built before the snow flies? I won't place money betting on it (grin).

    1. The Leaf Lady's yard has more spectacular reds. She has azalea bushes that turn a brilliant red.

I'll be surprised if the greenhouse gets built before the snow flies. Truthfully, I don't think it will survive New England Winters. 🤫

    2. I don't imagine you will tell Himself that, though.

  5. Those morning glories are beautiful. It is a shame they bloom so late. All of my flowers seem to be flowerless at this point. The trees in my yard are starting to change colors now, but some already did and are bare.

    1. I'm surprised they are still blooming with how cold it's gotten at night

  6. Autumn is in full swing. I'd say just past peak here, but still looking good. Nice photos, but too bad the greenhouse construction has stalled. Happy new week!

    1. can't wait till we get closer to peak - ...there's one tree at one of the shorelines i walk and i don't know what it is. it's not that colorful kind of dreary shades of faded greens and golds but ...the thing is - as it gets older it begins to look like a map. i picked up several last year and saved them all year.
