The shell gold dots were burnished with the burnisher (protective glassine is not needed) Using a small, ball embossing tool, a dot was embossed into the gold. This will give the dots a little extra gleam.
With the lettering, inking, and gold work completed, time do break out the paints (Winsor Newton gouache)
And voilà . Done.

DeleteWow, the end result is fantastic. (I should've realized in the previous post that the flowers still needed to be painted.) This is a lovely wedding gift for them. And very clever to work the house into the letter A. (It reminds me of the bookmark you made for me and Teddy!)
