Wow, all beautiful I like that bunny best! Here the day got off to a bad start - no electricity, no heating, no internet, no phone. And it's cold. And no electricity meant no coffee. And the trams and buses are on strike again, hell's bells, what a friggin' day!Electricity is back on, and internet, but no heating, and it's cold! Hope your day is better, Valerie
ReplyDeleteEs tut mir lied. (I think that says I'm sorry). You need to go get a nice, hot cappuccino. Maybe when you get back the heat will be on.
DeleteYou've done some amazing pieces for Inktober so far CJ. The bunny is very cool! Hope you are having a good week. Hugs-Erika

DeleteOh my goodness, dear CJ. You have blown me away with not just the calligraphy, but also the incredibly different styles you chose each day. I also love how you interpret some of the prompts, too. I don't have a favorite, because once I see one I love it, the the next one becomes my favorite. I love them all. Your art is incredible.
ReplyDeleteYou made it a two cowboy hat day. Thank you. 😊
DeleteYour calligraphy is stunning! I love the illos too! My fav is 'cruisin'. :D
ReplyDeleteOur self portraits 😺
DeleteLOVE seeing your drawings CJ! So glad you posted them. I love them all but i'm afraid the bunny may have grabbed my heart. I too love to see how you interpret the prompt. I admire you for taking on this challenge! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteTrying to interpret the prompts is the fun part of the challenge.
DeleteI love that curly bunny!
ReplyDeleteThe bunny is made of practice strokes for pointed pen styles like Copperplate.
DeleteWow, such beautiful drawings and calligraphy! I love how you created the bunny - so amazing 😀. Thank you for the kind Anniversary wishes today! Happy and creative wishes! Hugs, Jo x

DeleteBoa tarde. Parabéns pelos excelentes desenhos.
ReplyDeleteObrigado 😊
DeleteYou are really talented, beautiful works!
ReplyDeleteThank you 😊
DeleteThese all look great. I chuckled at the radio one: it made me think of me (and Teddy) zipping along the country roads, enjoying the Fall feel to everything. That bunny is the type of calligraphy drawing I had asked you about awhile ago (and of course, I can't remember what the name of that style is, which you had told me back then).
ReplyDeleteHimself and I sing along to the Oldies (50s, 60s) He's a great bass man.
DeleteThe swirly writing is a pointed pen style called Copperplate or English Roundhand. Like the writing done on the Declaration of Independence though that was done with a pointed quill and not a steel pen. The strokes of the bunny are actually practice strokes to get thick and thin lines by applying pressure.
Love all your "inky" art - and your beautiful lettering. You've been busy.
ReplyDeleteKeeps me off the streets 😺
DeleteAmazing CJ! That bunny rocks!! WOW! Big Hugs!
