The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1.  Himself was ordering some science and chemistry tee shirts. He found a shirt he thought I would like, too.

2. Blue baker's twine arrived. 2 shades of blue and a grey!

3. We got almost an inch of much needed rain.

4. Put out some Halloween decorations though the Ink o'lantern stays out year round.

5. It's Inktober

 How was your week?

  2. Sounds like a fab week and you've reminded me to get my Halloween decorations out - yay! I have all my fall recs out already, they were out early this year as I love autumn colours 😀. Loving the Ink o'lantern and can't wait to see your new tees! Happy Friday and weekend! Hugs, Jo x

  3. Nice week CJ. I would love to see those science T shirts your husband ordered. They might be a bit too chemistry for me the biologist but anything science is always fun. And thanks for reminding me to go get out my Halloween decorations. Are you getting any rain today? Hugs-Erika

    1. I'll be sure to include the link where he got them. We're supposed to get rain, but just cloudy and chilly. the weather station is saying sunny. I think the weather station is 24 hours ahead.

  6. An inch of rain is good - ...Ink of lantern - interesting - ...and a new tshirt that's a great gift - that's all i wear is tshirt and jeans or ...comfortable type pants around the house. I'm almost getting adverse to having to put jeans on when I go out walking.

  7. I want the "shut up, man" t-shirt ;) That sounds like a nice fall rain. I haven't gotten out Halloween stuff yet. What's the matter with me?!

  8. I'm not sure yet, if we're about 2 weeks ahead of our normal Fall season, due to the New England drought. But I have a feeling the colors will be bland due to it. I had leaves falling in the late Summer, due to the lack of rain. Between yesterday and today, one tree along the road dropped half of its leaves, and they weren't very vibrant looking, so I hadn't even noticed them. (The only reason I knew they fell is because I mowed yesterday, and today, in this one spot, there were all of these leaves on the ground.) I need to keep an eye on things, to try to get some Fall tree color photos, in case they're all going to just drop quickly. :-(

    1. Leaves here seem to be vibrant as usual. A lot dropped because with the rain we had high winds

  9. I want to see the tees. I'm a science freak. What I also want is a tee that reads "Dump Trump."
