1. I found Godzilla's heat ray, misplaced while cleaning.
2. The Eldest is making plans to move closer to the hospital where she works.
3. I saw the male cardinal at the feeder. The cardinals haven't been around for several weeks.
4. The shirt Himself ordered me arrived.
5. My computer chair has seen better days. Himself was using a kitchen chair when he worked in the office. We got early Christmas gifts and ordered new computer chairs.
How was your week?
My week was good and busy, since my daughter was home until Wednesday AM. I like godzilla and his heat ray. Fun piece. I put out a few Halloween decorations but no Godzillas or other famous movie dinos. Enjoy the nice start to the weekend. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI hope we get to see your Halloween decorations
DeleteI LOVE your Friday Five Good Things posts CJ... If you can't tell...lol It always helps me count my blessings which i think is so important these days..
ReplyDeletePutting the finishing touches on the backsplash in the kitchen and its looking GOOD!
Painting ceramics that have languished for years on shelves...
Daughter does not have preclampsia and is doing well
Hubby is doing well after losing his gall bladder
Still losing weight and walk/run nearly everyday and lifting weights... Its been 6 months of 'staying with it'! Woohoo!
Your week was excellent, too. That's extremely good news about your daughter, and I hope your Hubby feels back to his old self soon.

DeleteSounds like a rather good week to me. My week? Well let's see, I got my car inspected which was due LAST month (oops) and my arm is slowly but surely getting healed up some. Thanks for asking! Have a great weekend, CJ!
ReplyDeleteAnd you didn't get stopped by the police for having an expired inspection sticker! 😺 I'm glad your arm is healing and you're doing better.
DeleteNope, got lucky. BTW, This has never happened to e before and it wasn't intentional for sure! It used to be that in the State of PA, your refistration and car inspection were due IN THE SAME MONTH, but that changed a while ago and now the months are almost always different! I think is was better before!
DeleteOops, typ-o - I meant registration* lol
DeleteSounds like a great week! But I want to see the Tee-shirt and what chair did you order.....you can't leave us hanging like this! LOL ;)
ReplyDeleteScheduled for future blog posts 😺
DeleteSounds like a fab week! Glad you got your T-shirt, I can't wait to see it 😀. Now you'll both be comfy sitting on your new chairs - yay! Happy Friday and weekend! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo
DeleteComputer chairs don't last forever. Welcome back, cardinals! I'm glad Godzilla got his mojo back :)
ReplyDeleteMe, too.
Deleteyou might have a hawk in the area. I always know when he's been hanging about my place, as the bird bath is never empty//dirty
ReplyDeletethe Godzilla iz too cool !! :) ♥♥
We have red-tailed hawks, but I haven’t seen them around either.
DeleteWhat an EXCEPTIONAL week you've had. I wonder if your daughter's landlord is going to miss her. I know they formed a special bond when she moved in.
ReplyDeleteI know not to ask about the tee and chairs. It's always a "wait and see" type post (grin).
😺 you got the wait and see right
DeleteHubby has a computer-chair... and falls asleep in that thing.
ReplyDeleteI still have my IKEA "Emil", too hard to fall asleep, plus I´d fall off!
Good this week: resumed training and sent out two applications/have all dummies ready to go. Frightening stuff.
Good luck 🐷🍀
DeleteSounds like you had a good week. I like that Godzilla.
ReplyDeleteI had wanted a Godzilla for my nativity scene. It was a gift from Himself
DeleteNew office chairs are nice. I have two of them I don't use but kept when we moved. One the grandkids move in frontof the TV when they play x-box and one sits in my bedroom. it's like I just can't get rid of them. Good news about your new shirt. And ..your daughter's move... change of scenery is always nice. my week wa good - a lot of walking and yesterday two different hikes along two different trails that was about seven miles - more than I've done in a long time. one of them with my son.
ReplyDeleteThe move is more practical than a change of scenery. The Eldest is moving so she doesn’t have an hour commute after working 2nd shift at the hospital. She’s found an apartment that 5 min.l away from the hospital . I hope we get to see some of the pictures from your walks.
Deletei usually put my photos up at my nature blog or my main blog.
