T Stands for Movie Night

While Himself watched Monday night football in the living room, Quill and I made ourselves comfortable in the bedroom to watch a movie. So many movies to choose from, but what to watch?

The wind was wuthering around the eaves. A perfect night to watch Wuthering Heights (1939) starring Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon. The movie is based on the classic by Emily Bronte and is a story of love, betrayal, and revenge.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth’s blog to find out what the rest of the T gang is up to. If you want to play, include a beverage or beverage container in your post. Don’t forget to link your blog from Bleubeard and Elizabeth’s page.

    1. The mug is my alter ego. Quill loves watching television. The movement, color, music. He doesn't complain what you choose to watch either. His favorite show are the bouncing ROKU letters when the device starts up. 😸

    1. My mother suggested it to me as a teen. I think it was the first romance I read.

  4. Yours is the second reference to Wuthering Heights for today's tea party. I've only read the book, didn't see the film, but I probably should watch it.

    1. The film is excellent. Excellent cast. I read the book so long ago, I don't know if the movie is true to the book

  6. I see Calli and Quill now have Christmas houses. Seems you and Quill are really good buds and he has really bonded with you. Every time I see that Grinch mug, I laugh. Just so you know, laughing HURTS right now (grin). Thanks for sharing movie night, Quill, and your mug with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.

    1. The Christmas houses will go in the front window if the kitties can't keep their paws off the Christmas tree. We'll see.

  7. I ended up watching some of Monday night football. I don't know how they could pass a football with that wind. And I know, tomorrow could be anything. From a dusting to a few inches. You would think they would know better. I like that old Wuthering Heights movie. I have actually seen it-smile. And I like your mug too. What did Quill think of the film? Hope your T day is going well. Hugs-Erika

    1. Quill had no complaints about the movie. He pretty much likes whatever is on. Action, adventure, romance, sports, news, commercials. He's easy to please 😸

  10. Sounds like my house - guy watching football in another room while myself and my Beanie watching TV. Just saw an amazing documentary on Disney Plus - the Rescue about the soccer players being rescued from the cave back in 2018...amazing.
Been too long since I've been here. Gotta go catch up. Had company over the holidays and just busy stuff.

    1. Sadly we don't get Disney+. Hopefully, it will show up on Netflix or Prime.

    1. Quill does. When Ink was little and the television tops were wide, he used to lie on top and lean over and chase the football players across the screen 😸😺

  13. The winds have been NUTS here, too! Nothing like snuggling up with a sweet little kitty and watching a good movie on days like those.
