Fun Facts About the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

In 1997, the chocolate chip cookie was designated as the official state cookie. The cookie was invented in 1930 at the Tollhouse Restaurant in Whitman, Massachusetts.

    That cookies would drive me "nuts", LOL!

    1. Toll as in collecting a fee to use a road/highway. The original Tollhouse cookie did have nuts in it besides the chocolate chips. I thought "toll" auf Deutsch meant "great". As in "What do you think of this cookie?" "Toll"
