T Stands for Tower Hill - Part 2

More from my trip to Tower Hill with Nan and her sister, Nish.

Another sculpture from the exhibit, Uprooted

View from the patio outside Farmer and the Fork Cafe.

Finally! A proper drink reference. I had a hibiscus iced tea along with a chicken salad sandwich and a bag of chips (crisps).

The sculpture moved in the breeze and on first glance looks like cymbals. As it moves you notice there are two cranes.

A new take on garden wall.

Vegetable and herb garden

I had never seen this blue flower before. Nan called them Lacy Hydrangea

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  2. Nice photos. I've never eaten at the Farmer and Fork Cafe but it sure does look yummy. And I love their living wall. I've wondered how I could put one up in my yard. (Along with many other things I have seen, none of which will probably ever happen-smile). Have a great T day and enjoy this beautiful weather. hugs-Erika

    1. The Farmer and Fork Cafe is cafeteria style. I liked Twigs, the restaurant they had before. Indoor and outdoor dining under a tent. It just made the gardens feel a little more special.

I'm sure you can find a youtube video on how to create a living wall.

  7. I was also impressed by that stone arch, as well as the sculpture that had columns and arches in it. I had to enlarge the images and finally saw the cranes. Exceptionally clever.

Your sandwich is making me hungry. I would also like some hibiscus tea, since I have a full pound of it in my fridge.

Thanks for sharing the last of the Tower Hill photos, your sandwich, and your tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.

    1. We had the perfect weather to enjoy being outside. This past week we had a 7 day heatwave. Not nearly as oppressive as what you have, but unusual for this area. I don't mind heat and humidity. It beats shoveling snow

    1. This is only a small sample of the garden. There were other trails to follow, but more challenging to walk along and Nish needed to walk on a flat surface

  14. Thank you for taking me to Tower Hill. What an amazing place. I love the sculptures especially that stone arch. I also like the cranes/cymbals.
The living wall is so pretty. It makes me want to make one now. But such things wouldn't survive in our hot and dry climate.
Your chicken sandwich and hibiscus tea make my juices flow. Is it dinner time?
Sorry for the late comment. (Better late than never),
    Hugs,
