Saturday Afternoon at the Movies

This idea came from a Facebook meme:
Over 10 days, post your 10 all time favorite films. What movie has really made an impact on you or what films can you watch over and over and never tire of? Post either the movie poster, DVD cover or even a screenshot on your timeline. No need to explain.

Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:me favorite films. Mister Roberts (1955) Henry Fonda, James Cagney

and the sequel

Ensign Pulver (1964) Robert Walker, Jr, Burl Ives

If you haven't seen either of these films, you might be able to find them for free on YouTube.

  2. I still remember the first time I saw Mister Roberts. It was shown on TV, and I think I cried. Or pretty close. I couldn't watch it again for a long, long time after that.

    1. You can always cancel the service after the Christmas movie season is over. Yeah, they nickel and dime us that's for sure.
