How Does Your Garden Grow?

A dusting

A few inches of snow earlier in the week, a preview of things to come

Quill watching me sweep the snow from the walk

The moon was gliding in and out of the clouds, but I didn't catch it.

On the way home, a gorgeous sunset

The bunny trail

Will the greenhouse survive the storm?

Checking the solar arrays. If the electricity goes out, the solar battery will keep us going for 24 hours. After that snow will have to be scraped off a few of the solar panels.

The mailbox standing in trepidation before the storm.

From the street to the garage, approximately 75 feet. The car is in snow position

On the morning of the big storm, snowing and 17 oF. outside with a feels like temperature of 84 oF.  I love you weather station. You have my soul. Perhaps, temperature is just a state of mind.

View from the kitchen window

It will be hard to tell how much snow we will get as there was so much blowing and drifting. The snow was blown off the front steps.

First pass of the Angel with the Plow

A true New Englander, Calli is not phased by the snow.

    1. It was very cold and the wind made the temperatures feel well below zero. Happy we are all safe and snug at home. Thanks for the well wishes

  5. It's good to see Calli. I must say if she is not phased by the snow and is a true New Englander, then she is one hardy cat. The kitties in each of the window photos are fun. I think we got about 9 or 10 inches, but its hard to tell with the drifting. How about you?

    1. Over the last few days, Calli has endured poking, prodding, being medicated. She's a sturdy little girl, indeed.

  6. Sounds like you guys had about what we did - just a little over an inch of dusting mainly. Now, they are calling for temps in the 50's by the middle of this coming week.

    1. The dusting was at the beginning of the week. If you come back on Monday, you'll see how much the Blizzard of 2022 dumped on my house. And I am so looking forward to those 50s

    1. Her fur is soft, but very thick. In certain lights, you can see some grey tabby and a ringed tail. She sometimes fluffs her tail to act extra cute for cuddles.

    1. We have some Artic cold the next couple of days. Temps were in the single digits, but with the wind, temps felt well below zero. Quill is cute, and he knows it.

  9. What a mess you have. I am going to make the most of today (Monday) because the next wave of this winter is on its way tomorrow. By Wednesday and Thursday, we are looking at single digits for daytime highs and negative numbers at night. And those are real not feels like numbers. I think I need to show Bleubeard and Squiggles what a truly brave cat looks like. Not just a New Englander, but one who can brave whatever comes her way. Bless little Calli.

    Bless the Plow angel, too.
