How Does Your Garden Grow?

Sunset

The birds have been nibbling the penguin

They ate his little head

Bluebirds!

Bluebirds devouring the penguin

Nom nom nom

Obligatory whine about the snow

Sadness

Who wore it better?

Someone needs to shovel a path to the bird feeder

Tears across the Tundra

Squirrel tracks

How does your garden grow?

  1. Your snow looks very pretty! We just have some remnants of snow. It’s delightful to have bluebirds at the feeder. Our location is too urban for them.

    1. The bluebirds must be making a come back in this area. In 36 years, this is only the 2nd time I have seen them

  2. Bluebirds! I've seen them here once, so I know they're around, but they prefer more open space than my little urban patio provides. So pretty!

Our snow was puny and didn't last. We're getting pouring rain right now.

    1. The bluebirds were a surprise flash of bright blue. I'll take puny snow that doesn't last any day and twice on Sunday! 😺

  3. "Someone needs to shovel a path to the bird feeder" should NOT be a sentence in the english language! :(

  5. Did you make that penguin - i've never seen one in the store like that. And wow, it's way cold looking there. I only have just a little snow left in the backyard where i get very little snow but snow berms are still on the road going down to the lake.

    1. The penguin was a Christmas gift to me and the kitties from Himself. He got it at Wild Birds Limited. They have other critters available, too

  7. How much snow did you get CJ? WE got 4-5. And you must have had the gorgeous sunset earlier last week. It was amazing, wasn't it? Happy new week.

    1. We ended up in a jackpot snow belt and got 9 or 10 inches of snow

  8. WOW, you got more snow than I got. First it was rain, then it was ice, then freezing snow. That's when the branch caught onto the internet line and put me out of commission. The ice and snow stayed for days because it was too cold for it to melt. I hope the bitter wind chills (I got -18 F one day) don't reach you with all that snow on the ground.
