The Friday Five Good Things

Photo by Tina Nord from Pexels

Five good things that happened this week.

1. While I was washing the dishes and looking out the window, I couldn't see the cardinal but I could  hear him singing: Purty, purty, purty.

2. Himself's second carpal tunnel surgery on his left hand went well.

3. Ordered a humidifier on Sunday

4. and it was delivered the next day, on the holiday!

5. An expected package was delivered to a house down the street. They brought the package to us.

How was your week?

    1. Trying to stay warm. I'm wearing fingerless gloves and I just boosted the heat

  2. Gorgeous photo, and one of my favorite birds! You had a very good week. It's nice to hear that the people down the street did the right thing with the misdelivered package.

  4. We haven't seen or heard the cardinals as much lately. I miss them. We've had dehumidifiers in the past... I'm glad that surgery went well. I had carpal tunnel syndrome decades ago, but it resolved with rest. Isn't it nice when neighbors are neighborly :)

  5. I am not a bird lover per se, but I do love cardinals! I also believe what they say about their symbolism as well. They are amazing!

    1. I was stunned that it happened. Neighbors on either side of me aren't very neighborly

  9. Sounds like a great week. I miss our cardinals. I think they moved to warmer climes. So glad Himself's surgery went well. Make sure he does his exercises or his hand will stiffen. I hope you avoided the latest round of ice and snow and cold. The view of your area I saw on the weather channel was brutal.

    1. The Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic got slammed. The storm went out to sea so my area didn't see a flake, but the Cape got a few inches. We are just in the bitter cold

  10. an unexpected package was delivered.....that's what my eyes read first and i kind of got excited and then reread it and it said expected package... Carpal tunnel surgery went well - that's always good news. it's cold, windy and at least it's dry for the next ten days we should have sun and no wind, temps around 50's ...nothing knew here really.
