How Does Your Garden Grow?

With a temperature of 24 oF, the weather station was wishful thinking that the outside temperature was 83 oF. I'm with you, pal.

A snow squall blew threw and graciously left a half inch of snow.

I forgot to show Himself's greenhouse wrapped up to weather the winter

  1. We got snow! Granted it measures an inch by official measurements and doesn't cover the ground and didn't stick on paved surfaces and won't last through tomorrow, but we got snow! Hoorah! Yours looks pretty.

  2. Brrrr.....it's been chilly down here too. I'm not used to layering/bundling up anymore. But I'd rather do that than shovel! Hang in there, only 156 days until summer! (And spring is better than winter too!) ;)

    1. Up here, Spring isn't much better than Winter. It can still be cold and wet, just not as much snow

  3. Snow. What can we say? It was fine in late November and December, but when February comes, slush is there.

I grew up in the Midwest. I do not miss snow.

  4. Looks like a cold week ahead at least at nights. Once again we were at -4 this AM. Brrr. The good news I've noticed it is not pitch dark at 5PM any more. Very close to it, but not quite there. I hope you get more rain than snow.

    1. 1-3 inches predicted turning to rain. Temps to rise above freezing. We’ll see.

    1. Yup, the January background pic. Have no clue what mountain range, but it looks cold like January. 🥶

  6. It was relatively nice today, so I am trying to do a few things I wouldn't normally do, like refill my coffee containers and fill a bowl of food for Bleubeard. I also want to eat something before the day is out (grin). It turns YOUR kind of cold tonight again. I just got warm and the cold is soon back. My garden is frozen solid, but the good news is, the bamboo is in hibernation! You have a much prettier yard than mine at the moment.
