How Does Your Garden Grow?

Mums

After the rain, some leaves left imprints on the walk

A sigh to make the Leaf Lady clutch her pearls

Nothing like relaxing at home and putting your feet up

Some friends join the Ink o'lantern which stays in the porch year round.

Mr. Jellybones

This stays in the front porch year round, too

Morning glories hanging on up by the woods. Okay, maybe they are weeds, but I still think they are pretty.

One last hurrah from the clematis

Calli enjoys watching the leaves fall

  1. I'm loving your Halloween decorations CJ. My. Jellybones has a great name. And fun flying lessons sign. I have a sign that says the witch is in/out-you can flip it however you want. My daughter likes to put it to in-ha ha to her. The foliage looks great too. They said the same thing here about poor color, but it never disappoints, does it? Happy rest of your weekend. Hugs-Erika

    1. When the Eldest was in first grade, they made a skeleton out of plastic milk jugs. Mr. Jellybones was what the skeleton got named. The original is long gone so this paper one is a tribute. I should make a witch in/out sign. 🎃

  2. No mums here... just too expensive ... The Sunflowers are having their last hurrah.. I trimmed them up some of dead flowers and next time they need it i will just pull them up.. Thankfully they pull up easily.. You know.. after seeing your Halloween decor i don't know why i was so sure you would like what i've made and wanted to send you.. hmmm.. Now i'm thinking what i have is way too dark and morbid.. I'm thinking.. i'll let you see it posted on the blog and let you decide if you want one.. ok? I'm hoping to post a pic for the Tparty this week.. Putting on finishing touches.. Hugs! deb

    1. I love Halloween. Most of the cutesy decorations I have are from when the girlies were little so there is a lot of nostalgia attached to them. I'll look forward to your T Day post

  4. Your garden is so much more colorful than mine. I love how colorful your leaves are. We didn't get enough moisture, so mine go from green to brown this year.

How cute are your decorations. They are super swell and I love that they all have a touch of nostalgia attached to them. Just pure fun in your garden. I've spent the past two days getting my plants in so they don't freeze Tuesday night.

    1. Could have done without the oil leak in the oil tank, but things could have been a lot worse

  7. My fall-blooming wild sunflowers are looking pretty, but the other flowers have faded. It's chillier here than usual this week (high today expected to be 60) after have warmer than usual temps.
