I just read your comment which asked about the pie for Mass. She made a pie crust and then added the cream filling of a Boston cream pie. She topped that with chocolate sauce and chunks of sponge cake. An interesting twist on Boston cream pie. As I said, some pies weren't wildly unique, but had a bit of a twist, like Massachusetts. Off the top of my head I can't remember what Maine's was.
Allergist for me. And my house REALLY is a mess right now too. :(
ReplyDeleteUgh, the pine pollen has been the worst this year!

ReplyDeleteSending some warm weather thoughts your way

ReplyDeleteInteresting twist on Boston Cream Pie though I think I'd rather have genuine Boston Cream Pie

ReplyDeleteAdd a cup of coffee and sounds like a perfect time.
DeleteI need a sunflower chip feeder refill, so I'll be headed to Wild Birds Unlimited. Such a fun store!
ReplyDeleteI loved that store. There was one next town over, but they closed and moved several towns away to a new location.
