Some crocus blooming in the middle of the front lawn. Nowhere near where they were planted. I think some bunny or chippy nibbles the bulbs and plants them in other places. Glad the pretty, little gems will be past by the time the lawn guy comes to Spring clean.
The bunny stopped by. He and Calli were having a nice conversation. I think she was inviting him over for dinner.
How does your garden grow?
It's great to see your crocuses. Mine are still covered in snow from those 2 earlier storms in March. Even woods has less snow than my yard, go figure that one. Smile. I love seeing your bunny though and it's April, so let's hope spring really arrives.
ReplyDeleteTemps are supposed to be mild this week. I hope you get lots of melting
DeleteI'm sure CAll I would enjoy him for dinner. A few things are growing on my balcony, too. Happy Sunday
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm sure Calli would enjoy the bunny 😺I'll look forward to seeing the flowers in Balconia
DeleteInteresting where they ended up. I think you're right about some "bunny" eating and moving them. I'm sure Calli was inviting the rabbit for dinner. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCalli would have loved having the playmate for dinner
DeleteCrocus!!!!! Won't be long now! 😊
ReplyDeleteIt might reach 60 by the end of the week!
DeleteJinx LOVED to look out the big bay window in Arkansas and 'talk' to the birds. My garden of weeds is growing beautifully! lol! I get my weedeater out and work on it every day.. I enjoy getting out there though... usually just before the sun goes down.. gives me about an hour to putz around the yard... Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteInk loved looking out the front window and talking to the birds, too.
DeleteI've never seen a crocus, much less one in my yard. My bunnies like sunflower seeds. How nice these came up in surprise places. Sort of like my surprise lilies in summer.
ReplyDeleteA pleasant surprise to let me know Spring is finally here
DeleteMe thinks that SRING has finally SPRUNG!
ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteSo was Calli saying, "Mom, guess who's coming to dinner or Mom, guess what's for dinner:)
ReplyDeleteBoth 😺
DeleteSweet rendezvous! Ack. We´re down to -1C/30F. Nothing much grows...
ReplyDeleteIt's a cold start this Monday morning. 27 oF/-2.8 C
DeleteLovely to see the crocus.
ReplyDeleteWe had a cheeky squirrel at the bird feeder this morning, and a beautiful sunny day followed :)
All the best Jan
Sunshine today and warmer temps later in the week
DeleteCalli would be a good host. I wish we had bunnies here in the mountains. I use to have them when i lived down the mountain. Beanie likes to look out the window at the squirrels. sometimes she jumps up like she's going to break through the window.
ReplyDeleteCalli jumps up on the slider door with the bunnies. The kitties don't seem to be interested in the squirrels
DeleteI love how bulbs like crocus and daffodils spread. Sweet!
