This morning, I'm going to the post office to mail two packages for an art exchange. One package is going to Toots in Australia, my exchange partner. The other package is going to Tiggy, the exchange hostess as a thank you for coordinating the exchange.
Whatcha doin?
Those are pretty packages. Hope your recipients like them, but I bet they will. I'm going to walk this AM and have lunch with a friend afterwards. Before the rain. Have a fun day!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get your walk in; it's raw and drizzling down here. Have fun at your future T Day lunch 😸
DeleteIt's raining and chilly (63) here, so I'm staying in for another movie marathon of films I've been meaning to see for decades but that never seem to be chosen for viewing. Now, for a 2nd cuppa coffee...
ReplyDeleteYour art exchange sounds like fun :)
It's raining and chilly here at 42. Look a 42! Now, two of them! I wish you lived closer a movie marathon and tea sounds like a perfect day
DeleteLast couple days i've been entertaining myself by painting rocks... Remember that fish painting i've been working on for so long it could be classified as an antique.. laughing here but not laughing..lol uuuughh.. But i finally came up with a technique for the rocks that i like fairly well so thats what i've been doing.. 39 fish are painted and now a bajillion rocks.. uuughh..
ReplyDeleteI hope we get to see them on your blog
DeleteOh you will... I've just been sitting here figuring out some things about the blog.. I really like how you seem to have a day for everything.. I think that really helps when your trying to figure out what to post.. Like.. Food Wednesdays.. Art Thursdays.. etc... Should be fun.. We'll see if i can keep it up.. lol
DeleteHappy mail! I bet they'll be thrilled! :D
ReplyDeleteI think they will
DeleteThose packages look gorgeous, I#m sure the recipients will love them. Have a great day, Valerie

Deletehope the happy mail in the awesome packaging gets to where it needs to get to; especially the one going to Australia.... !! ☺
ReplyDeleteI hope they both get to their destinations
DeleteToots and Tiggy - now this made me laugh. love the names. oddly enough i used one of those words awhile back. anyway...cool envelopes!
ReplyDeleteTiggy's nickname came about because she loves hedgehogs, called Tiggy in UK. Someone also gave her the nickname of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle after one of Beatrix Potter's characters except the real Tiggy says she doesn't like doing laundry like Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle
DeleteI'm not sure where Toots got her nickname. Perhaps Hey, Toots! Where're you going? or Toots as in tooting a horn. I should ask her.
Sweet snail mail! And I agree fun names! Here.. work. Finally and fatigue. Reckon it´s the weather: grey, grey and more grey.
DeleteI have a hard time functioning if there is no sun.
Deleteso that's how it was ...tiggy and toots.
DeleteYour packages are mini works of art in themselves.
ReplyDelete😊
DeleteLove the look of your packages ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
