Green things Himself planted are sprouting
A daffodil all by its lone under the Japanese maple tree
Snowball bushes pushing out leaves
We contracted with a new landscaper. This is one are that he will take care of. Removing all the little saplings.
Derry's daffodils are coming up. I miss you.
They hydrangea was looking pretty pathetic. I thought it didn't survive the transplant
but there are a couple of buds popping out!
The wall of daffodils. Another area the landscaper will take care of. Maybe he can advise what else to plant after the daffodils fade.
Can you see the robin in the tree?
A pink, polka-dotted balloon floated into the yard up by the woods. Run away! We all float down here! 😸
How does your garden grow?
Your garden in doing well. This morning we hunted for easter eggs here, somebunny had hidden them in all of the cabinets and drawers! Happy Easter, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHow fun to have an Easter egg hunt. I hope you got a good haul. Happy Easter
DeleteIsn't it great to see things greening up? My daffs are almost ready to bloom, but not quite. So I loved seeing yours. Have a wonderful Easter CJ. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see how quickly the daffs bloomed. A few days ago, they had buds and then blink, flowers
DeleteSpring has finally SPRUNG! The tulips that my husband's Aunt Mary planted years ago just popped up yesterday! GOOD TO SEE!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to remember Auntie Mary
DeleteIndeed!
DeleteThings are waking yp! There's hope for Spring/Summer yet! ;)
ReplyDeleteEven with the burst of light snow this afternoon! 😸
DeleteOOOOooo spooky reference! I just love Daffodils .... love their cheery yellow color after a drab winter but also love the fact that nothing eats the flowers or the bulbs.. Wouldn't purple lilac bushes look great along with those yellow daffodils... but they would probably bloom the same time and that still leaves you nothing nice to look at for the summer... You need a summer bloomer.. HHmmm interested to see what your gardener suggests..
ReplyDeleteI have a hydrangea that blooms late July early August. Lilacs are wonderful, but horrific for the allergies
DeleteWe've got rain and more rain. My dogwood tree didn't bloom this year. Odd.
ReplyDeleteIs the dogwood just being a late bloomer this year?
DeleteWe've enjoyed a lovely sunny day.
ReplyDeleteI do like your forsythia :)
All the best Jan
The forsythia really adds a pop of color to the woods. Too bad the flowers don't last through Fall
DeleteHappy belated Easter. Sorry this wish is late, but I was offline most of yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWow. A landscaper. Good for you. Those daffs look absolutely lovely and I am sure you will have a stunning garden this year.
I don't know about a stunning garden, but hopefully it will look a bit neater and not so overgrown
Deletenice spring growing in your hard. It must feel so good to you. i haven't found much spring colors yet up here but I have been down the mountain off and on this last week - three times..and have gone searching for springs.
