The Grandniece celebrated her 4th birthday with an island/Moana themed party. Guest could wear leis and grass skirts.
Birthday cupcake tower
Grandpa (my Brother) showing his beverage of sparkling water. I liked the blue bottle
Lunch: cheese pizza (I skipped the Hawaiian, and pepperoni pizzas) salad, honey chicken bites. There were also Buffalo chicken bites. I went back to get some tortilla chips
Moana was playing on the big screen. A little man cave with a tool bench has joined the happy, little teapot kitchen. Gifts galore!
I had a chocolate cupcake with raspberry filling, fluffy raspberry frosting, and mini chocolate chips or Jimmies (chocolate sprinkles). I like how the pink flamingo is holding its legs in a number 4.
Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth’s blog to find out what the rest of the T gang is up to. If you want to play, include a beverage or beverage container in your post. Don’t forget to link your blog from Bleubeard and Elizabeth’s page.
What a fun themed party idea for your grandniece, and I love the flamingo legs as a 4 very clever. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
ReplyDeleteI don't know if the flamingos were purposefully chosen for the number, but I thought it was clever, too
DeleteWhat a fun birthday party theme! The cupcakes look and sound fabulous! Was hoping for the picture of you with a grass skirt!
ReplyDeleteThat water bottle is beautiful! Wow. I would definately have gone for the Hawaiian pizza - my fave.
Happy T-day, CJ! Hugz
My Brother and I were disgusted with the Hawaiian pizza. As Italians, Hawaiian pizza is a mortal sin. Pineapple doesn't belong on pizza. ðļI would have needed 2 or 3 of the grass skirts to go around me ðļ Besides, I don't like having my picture taken.
DeleteGood morning, oh wow what a fabulous and fun party-love this so special
ReplyDeleteI love that blue bottle too Happy T
That's my favorite shade of blue
DeleteI like Moana. I've seen it once, and it's a great film for birthday inspiration. Sounds like this was a dream party for a 4 year old, and fun for you to see family too. I wonder if parents still do those expensive go out type parties that were big when my daughter was little. We never did one, but she certainly went to enough of them. Happy T day CJ. (I love how that rhymes so I have to write it ever Tuesday.)
ReplyDeleteYup, parents still do those types of parties. I've seen adverts for different party events on my town's Facebook page. The latest one is a slumber party with each child having their own canopy tent to sleep in complete with cushions and fairy lights. My girlies went to several of those fancy parties. We didn't have them either, mainly because both my girls had Summer birthdays so no one was around
DeleteThis is such a fun party theme, and the food sounds (and looks) perfect for it. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun theme that was appealing to adults and kids. The adults saw it as a Hawaiian luau and Moana for the kids. Food was an easy catered affair, too
DeleteThe cupcake toppers 'announcing' the age is very clever! ð
ReplyDeleteSo cute and clever
Deletesuch a fun party, and I love your flamingo cupcake. Nice variety of tasty food too. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteThe flamingo cupcake was out of this world
DeleteWow! Looks like fun!!! I love the movie Moana! The music is great! My granddaughter turns 4 next month.. Its Paw Patrol all the way... lol Cupcakes YUMMY! She doesn't like cake.. so they are looking at a Cookie Cake... lol kids! Happy T day!! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteA cookie cake sounds wonderful!
DeleteOh my, that's looks like a fun birthday party and wow, so many gifts ð. I bet your grand-neice had such a wonderful time, the food and cupcakes look delicious too. Where does the time go, how can she be four already! Happy T Day! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteI can't believe she's 4 already. she loved her party. From my SIL (grandma) she had pretend birthday parties the week before as a dress rehearsal to the real thing ðļI think there was also a little party at her preschool, too
DeleteLooks like a wonderful celebration, happy birthday to the little princess! Valerie
ReplyDeleteThank you. The Other Little Princess had a great time at her party. It's good to be 4
DeleteI've never heard of Moana, but I enjoyed the party. Fun for adults and children of all ages, too. That cupcake tower was gorgeous and so was the flamingo, which I thought was a real show stopper.
ReplyDeleteNice that your brother shared his water. I love that blue color, too. Thanks for sharing the party, the food, the decorations, and the water with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
The Brother had no choice but to share his water. As he went by, stop! I need a picture! ðļ
DeleteWe love Moana in our house. What a great theme for a kids party. Those raspberry filled cupcakes sound delicious.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea day,
Kate
The cupcakes were to die for. There were other flavors, too, but I didn't go back to sample those. I should have!
DeleteNow this looks like a fun party. I love the cupcake tower. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteThe cupcake tower was so pretty and a great idea for portion control
DeleteIt looks like a fun set up for a party. I am another one impressed witht he flamingo cup cake toppers. I am kind of fond of flamingo's anyhow, they are so extravagently silly looking.
ReplyDeleteI saved my cake topper. Maybe it will show up in some future artwork
DeleteOooohhhh, those cupcakes! Looks like a lovely celebration!
ReplyDeleteThe raspberry chocolate was delicious. I wish I went back to sample the other flavors
DeleteHow fun:)
ReplyDeleteIt was
DeleteOh, my goodness that cupcake looks good! How fun to have an island birthday party. Happy T Day!
ReplyDeleteIt was a prefect theme as the Birthday Girl got Moana pajamas from her Grammy
DeleteKids' birthdays are always so much fun. How lovely that you could join your grandniece for hers.

DeleteLovely post

DeleteYour Niece sure is a happy and lucky girl and your post left me hungry!
ReplyDeleteT Day posts do that. I'm always so hungry after reading everyone's T Day post ðļ
DeleteIt looks like a very colorful birthday for her. The food looks delicious and I would have have gobbled down the pepperoni pizza. Happpy birthday to her - four is a cute age. I have four kids and nine grandkids to prove that statement, lol
ReplyDeleteI remember ages 4 and 5 as being so magical for my girlies
Deletebest of ages. the cutest conversations can be had with a kid when they are four - that's the time in my memory all the questions started ...what is this for, why is that this way, why do you look old and what are those spots on your skin. they are just so charming at that age.
DeleteThat would. have been a wonderful party, what gorgeous colours
ReplyDeleteBridget #20
the bright colors were so welcome as Spring has been slow to start here.
