The Friday Five Good Things A Day Late

Five good things that happened this week.

1. A trip to WAM to pick up the paper for the children's class. It was good to chat with co-workers I haven't seen in like forever.

2. Attended the Grandniece's 4th birthday party. 4 years old! Where does time go?

3. Tiggy let me know she received the package I sent. That was fast as I only mailed it a week ago!

4. We had a fun chat with Himself's college roommate who lives in South Carolina.

5. I had a mother of an allergy attack so didn't feel like cooking (good excuse). We sent out to Tony's (local pizza shop) for subs and a calzone.

How was your week?

    1. Sounds like you had a fun week. I usually get a meatball sub with provolone and grilled green peppers, but this time around I got a Grilled Deluxe Chicken with bacon.

  2. Sounds like a good week. Mine has been busy. I had several walks, saw a couple of friends, and got a bit of yard work done. I just need the wind to die down to rake.No complaints at all. And tonight my MIL is getting take out pizza as I've done 2 nights of big meal cooking and will do the same for Easter tomorrow. Anything not to have to cook-smile. Have a great Easter CJ.

    1. The wind sure has been blustery. And any excuse not to cook! We did fish and chips take out last night since today is cooking prep day.

    1. Allergies come with the seasons. Tree pollen now. Grasses in another month or so. Ragweed late Summer. But a good excuse not to cool!

  5. Sorry to read about your allergies. I hope you have medication for it.

Your week was much better than mine. I spent too much time with the tax guy. But they are done now for another year and the Federal was accepted on Wednesday. Haven't heard from the state yet, but I am sure it has been accepted, too.

That sub doesn't make me hungry at all. Sometimes when I see meat, I start craving it. Luckily, not today.

Happy Easter a half a day early, dear.

    1. If I take anything it's usually an OTC for allergies. Most times I just go lie down and crash. It's better when I can turn on the AC

  6. Wow, that sub sandwich look so good! I'm trying to cut back as I over indulged whilst voting family but I'd happily try this - yummy 😁. I hope you feel better, I suffer with allergies at Springtime too. Take care! Hugs Jo x

    1. Yes, we've had some rain so that's helped tamp down the pollen.
