How Does Your Garden Grow?

Signs of Spring, green grass and a robin

The mailbox is back! Like magic. One minute I looked out the window, and no mailbox. The next minute, I looked out the window and the mailbox was there! We put some pansies in the planter.

The next time the mailbox get whacked, it will be encased in stone like this.

Tomato cages ready

The trough gardens prepared

Empty acorn shells litter the backyard!

Forsythia getting ready to bloom

Ominous skies and buds on the honeysuckle vine

Daffodils on the hill

Late bloomers

Himself transplanted some of the seeds he started, and Timex (chipmunk) had a feast.

    1. That's the idea. I'm tired of footing the bill for carelessness

    1. I'm glad the mailbox is back because the postmaster was nagging us about it being replaced.

    1. I don't have a green thumb. Whatever grows is due to Himself or Mother Nature

  4. Things in your garden are a little bit ahead of mine. No daffodils yet. I did some cleaning out last week, more to go. And nice new mailbox post. It looks strong and sturdy. Hope you are enjoying your Sunday. hugs-Erika

    1. The mailbox post is not new. Just the bracket to hold the mailbox and planter in place. The bracket is what got destroyed

  5. Really loved seeing your garden as it comes to life. Even the robin looks happy. I bet Timex enjoyed his meal, too.

If you build that new mailbox, it will take a SEMI to knock it down next time.

  6. I approve the embed-in-a-stone-wall approach to your mailbox lol The daffodils are almost done here, but oh, the cherry trees! and the tulips! I have purple violets in bloom, and my catmint has buds.

    1. The cherry trees must be beautiful. Tulips will be coming up by the end of the month and we won't see the violets until the end of May
